We are based in the Anza Valley and deliver seasoned firewood throughout Riverside County’s mountain communities, the Temecula Valley, the San Jacinto Valley and the Coachella Valley.

We sell seasoned oak hardwood and an oak/cedar mix by the quarter, half and full cord, precut to 16 inches, and deliver free within our service area: Anza, Aguanga, Idyllwild, Mountain Center, Pinyon Pines, Temecula, Hemet and the Palm Desert area. A full cord is 128 cubic feet of stacked wood, a half cord is 64 and a quarter cord is 32, and every load is measured that way as California law requires. Current prices run from $177 for a quarter cord of oak/cedar mix to $777 for a full cord of seasoned oak. Seasoned oak bundles are $16.99 at Mr. Happy’s Mercantile on Highway 371 in Anza. How much does a cord of firewood cost from Mountain Man Firewoods?
A full cord of seasoned oak is $777 and a full cord of oak/cedar mix is $655, delivered free within our service area. Half cords are $444 (oak) and $333 (mix); quarter cords are $222 (oak) and $177 (mix). All wood is precut to 16 inches.
How big is a cord of firewood?
A full cord is 128 cubic feet of tightly stacked wood, typically a stack 4 feet high, 4 feet deep and 8 feet long. A half cord is 64 cubic feet and a quarter cord is 32 cubic feet. California law requires firewood to be sold by the cord or a fraction of a cord, and that is how we measure every load.
Is your firewood seasoned?
Yes. Our oak is seasoned hardwood, split and dried so it lights easily, burns hot and produces far less smoke and creosote than green wood. Seasoned firewood generally has a moisture content of 20 percent or lower.
Is delivery free?
Yes, delivery is free within our service area, which covers Anza, Aguanga, Idyllwild, Mountain Center, Garner Valley, Pinyon Pines, Temecula, Hemet and the Palm Desert area. Call (951) 704-4175 to confirm your address.
Do you stack the wood?
Our prices are for a dumped delivery where you direct us. Stacking is available for an additional fee; ask when you order and we will quote it for your location.
