Garner Valley is a high mountain meadow at roughly 4,500 feet, with open pasture that lets cold air settle. Nights are consistently colder than the surrounding ridges, and the horse properties and ranches here burn wood as a primary heat source most of the winter.
Our seasoned oak is well suited to the large stoves and open fireplaces in Garner Valley homes. For customers who mostly light evening fires, the oak/cedar mix cuts the price and lights easily in a cold firebox.
